Ghost Town – A Venice Community Play

Set against the colorful and complicated neighborhood of Venice, Ghost Town is the love story between a woman and her aging house. Zelda has raised her children and grandchildren in this community but now it’s changing all around her. What really makes a neighborhood home? Can Venice’s complicated past offer a future that includes her family? Full of music and revelry, Ghost Town journeys through time to serve up a story of home, community, and change that is both raucous and real.

Ghost Town is made possible in part by grants from Bloomberg Philanthropies, The California Community Foundation, The James Irvine Foundation, Los Angeles County Arts Commission, Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, The Shuburt Foundation, US Bank, The Kathryn Caine Wanlass Charitable Foundation and generous contributions from numerous individuals.
